Vanya asks Sissy to come with her to 2019 and to bring Harlan, who would be able to enjoy a better life thanks to more acceptance and knowledge about autism in the future. Herb and Dot, the only Commission members left, allow The Umbrella Academy to take a suitcase to go back to their time. The Swede and Five agree to a truce after realizing that they were both going after The Handler at the end and that they had no reason to chase after each other anymore. Lila ends up taking The Handler's suitcase and disappearing. During the reset, he is able to stop The Handler from killing anyone and The Swede comes in to kill her, finally getting rid of The Handler for good. The final Swede suddenly shows up and kills The Handler after he realizes that the reason all of his siblings are dead is because she set them up to try to kill Diego.įive is still alive even after getting shot by The Handler and uses his new ability to turn back time to go back a few seconds. Lila tries to go after her in a fit of rage over what she just discovered, but The Handler shoots her too. The Handler shows up at Sissy's barn and seemingly kills the siblings. However, Lila soon realizes that The Handler was the one who called for her parents to be killed.
In a huge surprise, it was revealed that Lila actually has special abilities, likely being one of the other children that were mysteriously born on the same day as the rest of The Umbrella Academy, and that she is able to copy each of their powers.
